In fact, our researchers, planners, creatives and coders work on integrated campaigns and discrete specialist research, design, digital and engagement projects in many parts of the UK, and new briefs are coming in on a daily basis…even international ones. Full Time Senior Account Manager / Account Director, Strategy & Planning, Wirral HQ, £32-40k + benefits + bonus
Our strategy and planning team is the glue here at Hitch. It makes things ‘integrated’. It joins things up, and converts research and actionable insights into impactful campaigns, moments and experiences that change attitudes and behaviours for the better. The great thing about being the glue is you get involved in all areas of a marketing project working alongside specialist teams, which will tick plenty of your boxes.
To succeed in this role you’ll already have a proven track record in an agency environment with at least five years’ experience and a good degree and/or masters (or equivalent) in a related subject. Your track record of delivering insight-driven and evaluated campaigns of an award-winning standard, including the full communications mix, will put you in good stead as you lead and run a range of integrated campaigns and projects. This role will also need you to turn on your great project and people management skills as you work across departments, manage others, perform in a team and work autonomously.
In an ambitious company like Hitch, you’ll be able to hold a room big or small, and be comfortable and confident supporting and leading business development opportunities as they arise in the areas of local and central government, health, charity, fmcg, transport and education. As for your clients (and peers), they’ll be impressed with your knowledge, experience and ability to deliver results. As a strong communicator, you’ll have a way with words in many contexts including transforming complex subjects into tight copy.
Your experience and skills will be backed up by your awareness and application of developments and trends in marketing, design and digital. You’ll also need some knowledge and experience of behaviour change and behavioural economics, to help underpin your strategic and evidence-based thinking in a fast-paced environment.
